Book for January

Can you believe we're looking into 2010 already? The book we have chosen for January is a young adult novel written by Markus Zusak. The book is The Book Thief. We will discuss this book on January 15 at Julie's house.

December Book

We are going to read a short, sweet children's Christmas book this month. The book is The Gift of the Magi by O. Henry. We will meet a week earlier this next month since it is a short book and we get so busy at this time of year.

We will meet on December 11 at 10:30 a.m. at the church. This happens to be the day of the scrapbook group, so we will just combine and discuss with those who are scrapbooking!

Please bring ideas for 2010! We will try to compose a new book list for the new year. See you then!

We have changed the book selection for November. We are going to read the book, The Heretic's Daughter, by Kathleen Kent. Enjoy! We will discuss this book on November 20 at 10:30 a.m. at Cherie's house.
